As I write this column, I have to admit that big changes are coming to my personal and professional life. I have been inked to three contracts with Crimson Cloak Publishing, likely renewed my one contract with Solstice Publishing, and now I’m live podcasting on Spreaker, which is also being carried on IHeart Radio. Of course, there is one thing which is coming up, and that’s my annual website package cost.
Something many of you DON’T know is that I do not charge for my content, nor have I ever charged. In addition, I don’t actively seek out advertisers. For that reason, my promotional budget is rather slim, as in pennies. I leverage free resources and connections as much as possible, but the fact is that I have to make some economic choices soon as far as blog and web outlets go, and my “dot-com” status may become a casualty. This website is not cheap to own and operate, so it may be going away in its current form.
I’m not soliciting donations. If you wish to offer those, drop me a line and we can work out something – a trade, perhaps. I will welcome suggestions and I just wanted to make you, my valued reader/listener/patron, aware of potential upcoming changes.
Thank you in advance.
