This past week has been one of profound transition. On March 24, 2017, I learned that the publisher of my novel Change Rising, Sarah Book Publishing, is ceasing printing of all work and going out of business. While I appreciate what they have done for me as an author, I am not entirely surprised by this turn of events. I am working to secure an official release from my contract with Sarah Book, and expect this novel to find a new publisher very soon.
I recently signed a long-term contract with Crimson Cloak Publishing for my first novel, A 38 Day Education. While I am grateful to Solstice Publishing for their work with me on this particular project over the last few years, I believe that this new contract will give me new opportunities and provide the sort of stability I have been looking for with regards to my writing. Crimson Cloak has already proven to be an exciting partner to work with and I am looking forward to the opportunities which this contract presents. Again, I am grateful to Solstice Publishing for their diligence with getting the first edition of this novel to market. I promise you all, version “2.0” of this work will be even better.
More changes are in the works in my writing and creative ventures, many of which I am unable to discuss at this moment because they are still in the planning stages. I ask your indulgence as I bring everything back into the literary “garage” for some work. Thank you for your readership and I look forward to bringing some exciting news in the coming months.
