My new hashtag, #jointhedelusion

I have been called a lot of things in my life, many of them I refuse to mention on this blog.  That said, there is one name I have been given which I have found extremely amusing, and now plan to use it to my fullest advantage.

Webster’s defines “delusional” as adjective of “a persistent false psychotic belief regarding the self or persons or objects outside the self that is maintained despite indisputable evidence to the contrary.”  For years, I have believed that I was meant for something special, something profound.  Those beliefs eventually ebbed, and gave way to a simple state – clarity.

I know who I am, and what I am capable of doing.  Writing is my passion, being a published author is the end result of that passion and, with that result, comes the opportunity to create a new world.  This, to many people, would sound “delusional.”  So, that in mind, I am inviting you, my readers, to use the perfect hashtag for my work.

It’s possible I really am delusional, and it’s just as possible that I’m visionary.  History will judge.  For now, I’m just going to have fun with what people think of me, and enjoy the ride.  So, I invite you to join me in my delusional realm, and I thank you in advance for making this hashtag go viral.  And yes, I know there is a band called Join The Delusion, but I got here first *evil grin*!

Don’t forget – Friday is Flash Fiction Day and I’m still inviting contributors!
